This is the great enemy of Christians. True Christianity always lasts without the presence of the spirit of fornication. If a Christian must grow and wax strong, he or she must refuse the food of the flesh, which is fornication (Premarital sex or extra_marital sex).
In most cases of people who backslide or fall from the faith, youth who have confused themselves today, the root cause is definitely traced to premarital sex also sexual root cause is definitely traced to premarital sex also referred to as sexual immortality while its other relations are adultery ( when it involves married people ), lesbianism, masturbation, incest, bestiality, etc.
Remember the commandment of God “your body is my holy temple; you must keep it holy as well”. Knowing this truth, why go through the deadly zone. God says, “if you destroy my temple, I will destroy you. ” you can see why you will be punished by God
The mistake most youths make is going through dead places and experiencing pain and failure. The original master plan of God is for you to be youthful and useful. But the enemy, the devil will not want this for you. Let me ask you, what is your thought about the plan of God concerning you? Which plan do you want to follow?
Whose model do you want to be i.e. what do you want people to see as they look at your arrogance, pride, money, shame, or God in physical from wearing flesh but led by the Holy Spirit? Please, take time and be careful before you buy shame and disgrace.
For the Bible says “But Daniel purpose in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of King’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: at he defile himself.
Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the Prince of the eunuchs .” ( Daniel 1:8 & 9 KJV)
Remember the story of Shadrach (Hananiah ), Meshach (Mishael ), and Abed-nego (Azariah), the three young men who in a very critical circumstance stood their ground and refused to bow to the king. In the end God really vindicated them. Reconcile their case with his Bible passage in same Daniel 11:32 once more. Why can’t you say no to that money, sex, pleasure, meat, drink, etc.? If Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego could refuse all these, stood their ground, yet were successful what about you?
In the previous chapters, I did mention Timothy, Joseph, St Paul, and other youths who didn’t give up.
They fled from the youthful lust, those things that destroy lives, so why the stubbornness? What is it you think as a lady selling your body will earn you?
In my subsequent book, I will be elaborating on the consequences of premarital sex.
This is one sin that has sent so many youths to their early grave. I am sure that you will go far beyond your Christian race if you must conquer the spirit of fornication (sex).
“When thou passeth through the waters, I will be with thee, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shall not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee… Even everyone that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me, there was no God formed neither shall there is no saviour…
These people have I found for myself, they shall show forth my praise; (Isaiah 43 KJV)
God’s declaration always motivates me. It gives me the insight to work for him; acknowledging the power in his word. When i realized the state He made me and the declaration, the zeal started burning in me.
When you have an act or attitude of being in God’s presence, it makes you zealous.
Each moment I look around, l feel the presence of God around me. I hunger for more and try to understand why Moses said ” if God’s presence will not go with them that he would not go. That’s why a music minister, sang:
I have come to say how much I love you,
I have come to say how much I need you
Lord, I’m not here to complain about my many problems
By your spirit and your grace
I’m confident you will solve them.
I’m here to say i love you
I’m here to say i adore you
I’ m here to say love you
I love to love you, Lord.
Have you come to the realization of the greatness of being in the presence of God? If you read through Psalms you will notice that there is something so special David discovered in God’s presence.
“Let us come before his presence with Thanksgiving , and make a joyful noise unto him with Psalms.
For the Lord is a great God and a great King above all gods. (Psalm 95:2 &3KJV)
“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter into his gate with Thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting, and his truth endureth to all generations.”(Psalms 100KJV)
