Reflection Time 3 by Chidi Obasi: Escaping Fornication (II)

We have treated some subtopic:

“I was glad when they said unto me let us go into the house of Lord.” (Psalm 122:1KJV) David knew that coming into the house of the Lord will certainly solve his problems and he desired to be there every time. He made it known in chapter 121:2 that his help will come from the Lord who made heaven and earth. This is amazing; it is good to be in his presence.

Feeling the presence of God in me is a need everyone must-have. Whenever I walk into his presence, behold His goodness, mercy, and blessings in my life, I feel confident and established, and so it be with you if accept this message of purposeful living in Jesus’ name – Amen.

But i wonder what anyone could do without the presence of God. “Everyone that is called by my name: for i have formed him yea, i have made him. This people have I formed for myself, they shall show forth my praise,

Imagine the greatness of God in our life; that He formed you for himself, to praise and live for him.
Look at the life of many witnesses in Bible, who realized that God formed them; from there they started living for him. Paul is a great example. He was zealous as a religious leader to accomplish the law but when his eyes were made open, he didn’t hesitate to serve God who had called him out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Though temptations and trials may appear on your way, they will not overpower you. For He (God) had promised and given us succor according to his word in Romans Chapter 8, and Hebrews chapter 12.

According to Isaiah 43:2 “When thou passeth through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not over-flow thee. When thou walkest through the fire thou shall not be burned….” ( KJV) this is the infallible word that motivates your zeal to hunger for our Lord.

Through the Christian faith, I came to the realization that in the midst of trials and temptations, even when the road seems darkest; that God has never left His children halfway nor has He disappointed them.

I have been in a scene (in a car) where the driver lost control of the steering and had nothing to offer, everyone had given up hope. But I immediately realized the word in Isaiah 43:2 the first thing that came to my mine was a SMILE; Yes I smiled, because I knew the car could not crash

Many things have happened in my life but I never gave up because the more zealous i am to know God, the more I realize His goodness. Mercy and love in my life. His banner over me and over every other believer He said is LOVE. You may think that all hope is lost, but God has not finished with you.

My zeal started when i acknowledged He can do all things and can change my situation. When someone does not acknowledge the importance of God in his life, there will absolutely be a shattered end.
When your zeal keeps dying, your ability to know his plans for starts to decay and finally dies.
Before one can could have a zealous spirit to seek God: he ought to acknowledge:

1. The presence of God. For God says that whoever must come to Him must first believe that He is and that is a Rewarder of those who earnestly seek Him.
2. The importance of God to that parson’s life; Note that God is important in your life and without Him, nothing can happen.
3. His potentials in the person’s life; Know that God gives power ( potential ) and such in you. ( John 1:12)
4. And that there is something He( God) wants him do.

Without realizing these, you may not grow perfectly in your Christian life. He has commanded that we must worship Him in spirit and in truth.
You are God’s hand-made, you need to understand that He wants you, He knows every of your problems and expects you to rely on him.

My zeal grows because I have committed myself to a day to day activity in His house. The day or night i miss out of going into His presence, it looks as if I have missed my whole life. Daily fellowship with God’s word is what He expects of you.
When I come into His presence, He talks to my soul and solves my problems. Don’t let your zeal of knowing God to be extinguished.
Keep enhancing your spirituality in order to attain a greater height. He will never disappoint you when your zeal for knowing Him increases. It is in His word that, He is the rewarder of those who earnestly seek Him.
